About This Product

Six foot drop is the middle ground, and it is what drivers reach for when the load is too tall for a 4 ft tarp and does not need the full 8. This is the only 6 ft drop tarp we stock, so if that is your load height, this is the one.

It is built the way a combination tarp should be. The top panel takes 18oz vinyl, because that is the surface the load grinds against on every mile of bad road. The sides run 14oz, because they hang and catch wind rather than rub against freight.

At 84.4 lbs it sits in the middle of our range on weight too: heavier than a RipStop, lighter than the 8 ft combination. If your freight is clean lumber rather than steel, the RipStop is worth a look first. It weighs less, it costs less to ship because carriers price by weight, and you are the one throwing it up there.

Key Features

The Only 6 FT Drop We Stock
For loads too tall for a 4 ft tarp that do not need the full 8 ft.
18oz Where It Rubs
The top panel takes the abrasion, so that is where the thick vinyl goes.
14oz Down the Sides
The sides hang and catch wind. They do not need 18oz, so they do not carry it.
3 Rows of D-Rings
Box-stitched onto seatbelt webbing. Bungee S-hooks clip here and run to your rub rail.

Best For

Load Height
Mid-height loads that a 4 ft drop cannot cover and an 8 ft drop overshoots.
Load Type
Lumber, building materials, and mixed freight on a flatbed or step deck.
Weight
84.4 lbs. Mid-range for us. The RipStop is lighter if your freight is clean.
Safety Tip

Tarp dimensions may vary ±2% or ±6 inches from listed size — this is normal manufacturing tolerance, not a defect.
