COIL TARPS
Skidded coils come packaged. Shotgun and suicide coils come bare and mill-sharp. Different loads, different tarps.
How To Choose
Which coil tarp you need depends on how the shipper sets the coil on your trailer, not on how big it is.
A skidded coil rides eye to the sky on a pallet, and it comes off the ship with cardboard already wrapped around the edges. The tarp never touches bare steel, so 11oz is enough. Our Skidded Coil Tarp is cut for the coils drivers pull out of the Port of Camden, and almost nobody else stocks that shape.
A shotgun or suicide coil sits on its edge in a cradle, bare and mill sharp. That takes 18oz, and it takes a moving blanket under the tarp. Six foot covers most of them. Seven foot is for the oversized ones.

“Got 2 4ft tarps and 2 8ft tarps for my husband’s birthday since he drives a flatbed. It’s been a while now, and he’s been using them non-stop—says they’re the best tarps he’s ever had. They seriously withstand everything! Super tough and still look like new.”
