Ratchet & Tie-Down Straps

How To Choose
A tie-down strap is not one product. What holds the load depends on how you anchor it and what you're hauling.
Ratchet straps are what you reach for most days. You crank the handle and the ratchet holds the tension. The 2" strap at 3,333 lb WLL covers general flatbed freight; step up to 4" at 5,400 lb when the load is heavy or the DOT count calls for it. Flat hook, wire hook or S hook, matched to your stake pockets and D-rings. E-track ratchet straps live here too, with e-fittings for van and enclosed-trailer rails.
Winch straps do the same job from the other end. They thread onto the winch mounted on your trailer rail, and you tension them with a winch bar instead of a handle. That's the standard setup for over-the-road flatbed work, in 2" and 4", 30 and 40 ft, with a chain-anchor option that drops into a rub rail.
Car hauler straps secure a vehicle by the wheel, not the frame, so the paint and body stay untouched. Over-the-tire straps lay across the tread; lasso straps loop around the wheel. Both run 2" wide from 9 to 12 ft.

“Got 2 4ft tarps and 2 8ft tarps for my husband’s birthday since he drives a flatbed. He’s been using them non-stop — says they’re the best tarps he’s ever had. They seriously withstand everything!”

“I purchased several items from Cargo Control Center, including tarps and chains. Driving in severe conditions and dealing with sharp and heavy cargo, I haven’t had any issues — no damage, no failures.”
