LOAD BARS, SHORING BEAMS & E-TRACK
E-track is the rail you bolt to the wall, shoring beams latch into it, and a load lock bar ratchets between the walls where there is no track.
How Blocking and Bracing Works
Blocking and bracing is what stops freight moving once the doors are shut. E-track is the slotted rail you bolt to the wall: it takes e-fittings, so a strap or a beam can anchor anywhere along its length instead of only at fixed points. You will see it written e-track, etrack and e track, and it is all the same rail. A shoring beam latches into that track and spans the trailer to brace a load in place. A load lock bar ratchets between the walls where there is no track at all.
We stock horizontal and vertical e-track, an adjustable aluminum shoring beam rated 2,200 lb WLL, and a ratcheting steel load lock bar for dry vans. None of these are tie-downs; they hold a load against shifting, and straps or chains still do the securing.
