About This Product
A horizontal e-track rail gives you a continuous line of anchor points instead of a handful of fixed rings. The slots take any standard e-fitting, so a ratchet strap or a shoring beam locks in wherever the freight sits. Galvanized 12-gauge steel, sold one section at a time. Suppliers spell it e-track, etrack and e track interchangeably, and it is all the same slotted rail.
Horizontal e-track runs along the wall of a van or an enclosed hauler at a single height, which is what most loads want: one strap line across the face of the freight. It bolts on or welds on, and sections butt together to make a longer run. The galvanized finish is there because the inside of a trailer sees road salt, wet freight and washdowns.
One thing worth knowing before you size a strap to it: the rail itself is not the rated part. E-track carries its working load limit per fitting, so the e-fitting and the strap you clip into it are what you match to the load. We stock e-track ratchet straps with e-fittings on both ends, and an adjustable aluminum shoring beam that latches into the same rail.

Best For
E-track is rated per fitting, not per foot of rail. The rail is the mounting point; the e-fitting and the strap clipped into it carry the working load limit, so size those to the freight.
