Delivery and return terms.
Shipping timelines, free shipping thresholds, freight policies, and local delivery details are governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, warranty claims, and refund procedures are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Both are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You are responsible for safe and correct product use.
Cargo control equipment must be used in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations — including FMCSA cargo securement standards (49 CFR Part 393). It is your responsibility to:
- Select products rated for your load weight and application
- Never exceed the Working Load Limit (WLL) of any strap, chain, binder, or hardware
- Inspect equipment before each use and replace damaged or worn items
- Use edge protectors and corner protectors wherever straps or chains contact cargo or tarps
Exceeding WLL, misusing equipment, or failing to comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations can result in load shifts, accidents, property damage, or injury. Cargo Control Center LLC is not liable for damages resulting from improper use, overloading, or failure to follow applicable regulations.
What we are and aren't responsible for.
Products are sold as described. We make no warranties beyond those stated in our Return & Refund Policy or on individual product pages.
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, Cargo Control Center LLC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or website
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Damages resulting from product misuse, overloading, or non-compliance with applicable regulations
Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability — in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
