SEMI TRUCK HEADACHE RACKS & PARTS
Two aluminum racks at 68 x 80, plus mounting kits in two frame lengths, chain hangers, tarp trays, and replacement doors and locks.
How To Choose
A headache rack puts a barrier between your load and the back of the cab, and gives chains, binders and dunnage somewhere to live instead of the deck. Everything for that job is here: the racks themselves, the U-bolt kit that holds one on, and every part that wears out.
Which rack. Two aluminum models, 68 x 80, sleeper or day cab. One is open with a chain-and-tray setup, the other is diamond plate with a lockable tool box. Compare the two racks.
Which mounting kit. A rack clamps to the truck's frame rail with U-bolts. It does not bolt through the deck. Length is the whole decision: 19-5/8" fits most frames, 22" extended reaches around a reinforced or doubled rail. Measure the rail before you order — that is the measurement people get wrong.
What wears out. Chain hangers, top mount tarp trays, replacement Mini-Vault doors and T-locks, and an 18oz vinyl cover. All sold on their own, so a damaged box does not mean buying a whole rack. This is where the repeat orders come from.
Headache racks are not front-end protection devices and do not meet FMCSA/DOT CFR 393.114a. Secure every load per CFR 393.100-393.132 regardless of what sits behind the cab. Install on trucks only, not on trailers.

“Got 2 4ft tarps and 2 8ft tarps for my husband’s birthday since he drives a flatbed. It’s been a while now, and he’s been using them non-stop—says they’re the best tarps he’s ever had. They seriously withstand everything! Super tough and still look like new.”
