About This Product

A 4-inch winch strap with a wire hook instead of a flat hook. The narrow 40Cr steel wire hook slips into recessed anchor points and rope rings that a wide flat hook can't reach, which makes it the choice for trailers without an open side rail. Thread the strap through the winch and crank it tight; the webbing carries the same 5,400 lb Working Load Limit as our flat-hook version.

Pick the wire hook when your anchor points are pockets or rings rather than a flat rub rail. Your trailer needs a mounted winch to tension the strap. Inspect the webbing and the hook before every load and replace the strap if the webbing is cut or frayed or the hook is bent or opened up, since a deformed wire hook can slip out under tension.
