RATCHET STRAPS

How To Choose

Ratchet straps lock a load to your flatbed fast. Crank the handle, the webbing tightens, and the ratchet holds tension for the whole run. Most flatbed drivers run the 2" x 30' strap at 3,333 lb WLL for general freight, and step up to the 4" x 30' at 5,400 lb WLL when the load is heavy or the DOT count calls for it. A 1" x 10' strap handles light loads. Pick flat-hook, wire-hook or S-hook ends to match your stake pockets and rails, or an e-track ratchet strap with e-fittings for van and enclosed-trailer rails. Every strap carries a marked working load limit, so you can size it to the weight you're hauling and stay legal at the scale. Running webbing over a sharp edge? Add plastic corner protectors so it lasts. Need the winch-mounted version? See Winch Straps.

“Got 2 4ft tarps and 2 8ft tarps for my husband’s birthday since he drives a flatbed. He’s been using them non-stop — says they’re the best tarps he’s ever had. They seriously withstand everything!”

“I purchased several items from Cargo Control Center, including tarps and chains. Driving in severe conditions and dealing with sharp and heavy cargo, I haven’t had any issues — no damage, no failures.”
