About This Product
Your 4x4 blocking needs somewhere to go. Loose boards slide around the deck, and a stack wedged behind the toolbox is a stack you have to dig for. These brackets hold the wood under the rail, off the floor, where you can reach it.
The set fits the rail profile on most flatbed trailers and carries up to 13 boards at 4x4x8 ft, which covers a 12-board load with one spare. The brackets ship as a left and a right. One of them has an open cutout on the side, so you slide boards in from the end rather than lifting them over the lip.
We build them in aluminum rather than steel. A steel rack this size adds weight to your tare and rusts first on the underside of the trailer where salt sits. The quarter-inch aluminum wall holds its shape when you drop boards in from waist height. We run these on our own trucks.

Best For
A dunnage rack carries blocking, not cargo. It has no rated working load limit, so never run a strap or chain through it as an anchor point. Use your stake pockets and rub rail for securement. Check that the boards are seated before you roll out, since a 4x4 that works loose at highway speed becomes a road hazard.
