Clip-On Winch Strap Winder, Zinc-Plated Steel — Fits 2", 3" & 4" Straps

A strap winder that hooks onto the trailer and rolls a loose winch or ratchet strap into a tight coil in seconds. You clip it on where you are standing, wind the strap, then lift it off and drop it in the toolbox. It needs no screws and leaves nothing bolted to the rail.

It hooks over the side rail or drops into a stake pocket, so it works on most flatbeds without a bracket of its own. The winder comes in two halves that close around the strap: one carries the hook, the other carries the roller rods. One roller takes 2, 3 and 4 inch winch and ratchet straps, which means you carry one tool for every width on the deck instead of three. The frame is zinc-plated steel and holds up to road salt and a wet deck.

You reach for a winder when the load is off and the deck has to clear fast. Feed the tail onto the roller, turn the handle, then pull the halves apart and lift the finished coil away. Rolled straps last longer too: webbing stuffed loose in a box creases and grinds against itself.
