A safety flag marks the edge of an oversize load, equipment, or a projecting piece of freight so other drivers see it before they're close enough to clip it. This one measures 18" x 18", jersey mesh construction that lets wind pass through instead of tearing the flag off its mount at highway speed, holding up better than a solid-fabric flag would in the same wind.
The rubber bungee mount stretches and hooks onto a load, rail, or mirror bracket without tools, and the stretch keeps the flag taut and visible instead of drooping when it's not windy. Jersey mesh sheds rain rather than soaking through, so it doesn't sag with water weight the way a solid flag fabric would. Check the bungee for cracking after a season outdoors; rubber degrades from UV exposure faster than the mesh itself, so replace the bungee before it snaps and the flag comes loose on the highway.
