This sliding trailer winch fits standard C track, the rail profile found on steel flatbeds and aluminum trailers alike. It slides along the track so the tie-down point goes where the load needs it instead of where a fixed anchor happens to sit. Steel construction with a black finish, rated at a 5,500 lb Working Load Limit for real flatbed freight.
A ratchet and pawl hold the tension once you crank it, and the 7/8 in bar socket takes any standard winch bar. It holds up to 30 ft of strap, enough to stay mounted between loads instead of coming off after every haul, and weighs 8.2 lbs. C track is one of several rail profiles, so confirm yours before ordering: a sliding winch is built to one rail shape and will not seat in a mismatched track.
