About This Product
A 4-inch ratchet strap with double wire hooks, built for heavy loads that need a ring or plate connection instead of a flat-hook rail. The 90-degree steel wire hooks grab D-rings, O-rings, and tie-down plates and hold without twisting. Hook both ends, throw the webbing over, and ratchet it down to a 5,400 lb Working Load Limit.
Run this strap on heavier freight secured to D-rings or tie-down plates rather than an open side rail. Match the number of straps to the load weight and the securement rules for what you haul, and keep the Working Load Limit tag legible for DOT inspections. Inspect the webbing and hooks before every trip and retire the strap if the webbing is cut or frayed or a hook is bent, especially on the heavier freight this strap is rated for.
