About This Product

A spider bungee holds a tire chain snug against the tire once it's on, taking up slack so the chain doesn't shift, slap, or work loose at speed. Six rubber arms radiate from a welded steel center ring, each ending in a steel hook that clips onto the chain at multiple points around the tire for even tension all the way around.

Built to handle temperatures from -22°F to 140°F, so the rubber stays flexible in the cold conditions chains are actually used in, rather than stiffening up and losing tension. Fits semi-truck tire sizes 22-1/2" and 24-1/2". Sold in pairs, one bungee per tire chain, for a matched set on a dual-tire axle running chains on both sides.
