A warning triangle signals other drivers that your vehicle is disabled well before they're close enough for brake lights to help. This set of three has 17" sides and is DOT approved, meeting the requirement for commercial vehicles to carry roadside warning devices. Triangles collapse flat for storage in a cab or toolbox and pop back into shape in seconds when you need them. Standard placement for a disabled vehicle is one triangle 10 feet behind the vehicle, one at 100 feet, and one at 100 feet ahead on a two-lane road, adjusted for sight distance and traffic conditions.
