Stake Pocket Trailer Winch, Zinc-Plated — WLL 5,400 lbs

A stake pocket winch adds winch function anywhere a flatbed has a stake pocket, no permanently mounted trailer winch required. It drops into flush or outside stake pockets and locks in with four cotter pin holes for a snug, adjustable fit. Built from 45# structural steel with a zinc-plated Dacromet coating, it carries a 5,400 lb Working Load Limit and 16,200 lb breaking strength.

It fits standard stake pockets measuring 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" or 1-5/8" x 3-1/2"; this is not a universal fit, so confirm your pocket dimensions before ordering. Thread the strap through after hooking the load end, then ratchet it tight the same way you'd tension a ratchet strap. It holds about 7 ft of webbing for temporary placement, not the full 30 ft length of a permanently mounted trailer winch, so roll and secure the excess strap once you've cinched down.
