About This Product
Howes Diesel Treat conditions diesel fuel and prevents it from gelling in cold weather, without relying on alcohol or harsh solvents to do it. It's formulated for modern ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel), which lost some of its natural lubricity when sulfur content dropped, and Diesel Treat adds that lubrication back in.
Beyond cold-weather protection, it helps remove water from the fuel system, reduce deposits, and cut down on smoking and rough idle. Safe for diesel and biodiesel blends, including home heating oil. Add it before temperatures drop rather than after fuel has already started to gel, since prevention works better than trying to treat a tank that's already thickened.
