60in Top Mount Tarp Tray for Headache Rack

A top mount tray sits across the top of a headache rack and turns the empty space above the chain hangers into a dedicated spot for a folded tarp or spare gear. This one measures 59 3/4" long and 17 1/4" wide across the folded edges, with a 4" deep tray — deep enough to hold a folded tarp in place, shallow enough to stay below the driver's line of sight through the mirrors. Keeping a tarp up top instead of loose on the deck also keeps it out of the way while loading and unloading.

Three mounting brackets sit under the tray, each an open slot 2 5/8" wide that seats on the rack's top rail with 4" of engagement. Weld it on or bolt it on — both hold, and the choice is yours; bolts are not included. All four corners of the tray floor are drilled, so rain and melt water run out instead of pooling under the tarp. The whole tray is welded aluminum and weighs 26 lbs, so it adds storage without adding meaningful weight up high.
