T-Handle Lock for Trailer Tool Box — Stainless Steel Latch, 2 Keys

This T-handle lock replaces a worn, seized or broken lock on a trailer tool box. It is the flush-mount style many box makers use: a stainless dish set into the door, a T-handle that lifts out of the dish, and a flat latch tongue on the back. Turn the handle and the tongue swings behind the box frame to hold the door shut. Drivers also call this part a T-lock or a T-handle latch.

In the bag you get the lock, two keys and a gasket. The gasket sits between the lock and the door and keeps water out of the box. A rubber cap closes over the key cylinder, so road salt and grit stay out of it. Four studs on the back hold the lock to the door. Nuts are not in the bag, so keep the ones from your old lock or pick up new ones.
