About This Product
This kit rebuilds the latches on our deer guards: the Volvo VNL New Body guard (SKU TDGVLV-2026-CC) and the Freightliner Cascadia guard (SKU TDGFL-2026-CC). We have fitted it only to those two, so we can't promise it fits a guard from another maker.
You get a pair, one latch for each post. Each latch is a black handle, a pin with a round head, and the lock that slides onto the pin and bolts to it.
The guard stays on the truck. Tilt it forward to reach the latch and undo the one bolt that holds the handle. Take the lock off the pin, push the new pin into the hole in the post, slide the lock onto it, push the pin through to the far side and bolt the handle back on.
The pair weighs 4 lbs and ships in a padded envelope.
