About This Product
This dunnage holder for a standard flatbed trailer comes as a left and right pair. On a Reitnouer, order the Reitnouer dunnage rack, a plain box with no step. The two pieces go on the main beam under the trailer and hold the ends of your 4x4x8 boards, so your spare blocking rides within reach.
Each piece has a step cut along one lower corner, and that step goes around the bottom flange of the main beam. The step takes room inside, so this pair holds up to 13 boards, two fewer than the Reitnouer pair of the same size. Not sure of the make? Call or text before you order.
Installing means drilling and bolting the pair to the main beam, or welding it on. Welding works only on an aluminum beam; a steel beam takes bolts. Bolts are not included. If you don't do that work, a trailer or welding shop can hang the pair square.

Best For
A dunnage rack carries blocking, not cargo. It has no rated working load limit, so never run a strap or chain through it as an anchor point. Tie the load down to the trailer's rated anchor points, such as the stake pockets. Check that the boards are seated before you roll out, since a 4x4 that works loose at highway speed becomes a road hazard.
